Can you live with a dog, a cat and a rat?. In this video they do. Even the pampered cat and rat rides on the dog.

No doubt the world would be better if we learn to live among different species, although dogs are very human, and some very rats. I do not know if she wanted to live with some of them, but that's where the happy and often mentioned tolerance.
